It’s amazing how much expression you can create with just black and white. It gives a certain simplicity and a clean surfaces. There are many ways to do it, by specific choice of furniture, posters, paint the floor/walls, or knickknacks. Lately, I have been a fan of black / white photographs. I think they often have incredibly expressive personality, and sometimes they give a nice retro expression for the apartment.
